What is horary astrology?

Horary is a type of traditional astrology, which is used to answer a specific question. Once the question is agreed upon by the client and the astrologer, a chart is cast for the place and exact time the question is asked. Answers to the question and information surrounding the question can then come to light.

What type of questions can be answered by horary?

Questions need to be relatively specific and the timing should not be open ended.

What is electional astrology?

This branch of astrology is used in timing of events. Using motion of the heavens to predict the most auspicious time for a ceremony or function. Some examples of these events are: a wedding or engagement, beginning a business, partnership, project, timing for a vacation or test, activities, surgery, and becoming pregnant.

What do i need to provide you for a birth chart reading?

In order to cast a birth chart , four things are necessary; full name, date of birth, time of birth, and city, state, country of birth.

Do i need to travel for energy Work or other services?

If your movement is compromised, we can accommodate you! Our prices reflect online and in house services. Extra charges may apply for time of transportation when traveling to certain locations. This is always discussed and agreed to prior to service. Some services are able to be conducted over long distance and travel would not be necessary. We are a small business located in the southernmost tip of Texas in Brownsville, by the border, by the sea! We are also able to travel to meet your needs!

What is The Process I need to follow to schedule an appointment for a special service including- yoga, traditional meditation, crystal grid meditation, sound bath meditation, or reiki?

You may contact us by filling out an appointment sheet here on our website, by email at: luna@lunayrio.com, by phone at (956)589-3347, or you may request our Client Intake Forms (for all new clients) and email them back at luna@lunayrio.com, and we will be in touch with you to discuss your desired experience. If you are a returning client, you will only need to request and return the Client Session Form. All clients must fill out and sign appropriate forms, and must leave a deposit to secure the date and time, before the service.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

We kindly request you call us immediately if cancellation is necessary. Due to the nature of our practices, we are normally unable to refill cancellations immediately. Deposits will be returned if notified 48 hours before the session minus a 4% processing fee, which is what we are charged from our service provider. If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of a service, or a client is a no-show to the session, deposits are not refunded.

Are practitioners licensed in the state of texas?

There is no licensure requirement for the practice of “complimentary and alternative health care services” or holistic/healing services in the state of Texas. Your practitioners are however studied, practiced, and certified in the following areas: Yoga, Meditation, Sound Bowl Therapy and Applications, Crystal Knowledge and Energy Healing, and Reiki. We proudly hold several national and international certifications in each study and would be more than happy to share further information of our studies with you if you would like to know more! Rest assured we follow all state and local guidelines to ensure all proper measures are taken to operate our business in an ethical, honest, and safe way.
