LEO FULL MOON: January 25, 2024
This Lunation has strong fixed Earth energy. The New Moon in Capricorn two weeks ago had creation energy for us here in South Texas Rio Grande Valley. This Lunation has the Ascendant cast at 4˚ Taurus. Taurus, a fixed Earth sign is unyielding and set in its beautiful and relaxing ways. Jupiter is on the Ascendant at 6˚ Taurus and lies at the bendings, exactly square and 90˚, to the Aquarius Sun and the Leo Moon full of light and power. A few days ago, as the Sun entered Aquarius it made conjunction to Pluto at 0˚ Aquarius. Pluto’s transit through Aquarius will last about twenty years and here his power is putting an exclamation on this Lunation. The Sun at 5˚ Aquariusshines in the 10th house in opposition to the Leo Moon in the 4thhouse. Mars and Mercury are conjunct in Capricorn and Venus, ruler of the ascendant, has just moved into Capricorn as well. These three planets are trine to Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus. Saturn in Pisces is sextile to both Venus in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus. There is a lot of Earth in this chart fixed and cardinal; things that we can touch and feel. When we consider Saturn in Pisces it threatens to mix with the Earth and turn our creative energy to mud. Our challenge here is to be bogged down in mud or use the Moon’s Leo fire to shape our clay into our creation and set it to fire. Two weeks ago we planted seeds and now the energy is moving us to continue this hardy growth of our creative dreams. The 10th house Sun has the public recognition of our efforts and the 4th house Moon will bring things home with us. Jupiter and Pluto are pushing extra energy into this creationurging us to fashion the clay into our statue and place it in the kiln. The three personal planets in the 9th house are teaching us about this creation. We are learning how to create with power and set to discover our goals.
